This book is a great way to make sure English and Science curriculums are well linked. Each book is matched to a year level and a Science strand and they have a brief synopsis of the story. Teachers can check if the books are in their school library or have their librarian order them in. The books could be used as a class novel, to make sure the class has a selection of themed books or to guide students to borrow age appropriate texts.
Highly recommended for all primary schools. This book is supportive of South Australia where year 7 students are still in primary school.
